About us

Two paths. One table. A shared homecoming.

We are Amelia Wood and Amy Fitzjames—two Certified Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioners who arrived at this work from opposite directions, yet found ourselves standing in the exact same place.

Amelia comes from over a decade in the beauty industry. For years, her hands brought relaxation to the surface—soothing tired muscles, nurturing skin, offering moments of escape. But over time, she noticed something lingering beneath. Clients would leave looking radiant, yet still carried tension deep in their jaws, their breath, their silence. She wanted to go deeper. Jin Shin Jyutsu became the bridge between nurture and true nervous system reset. Now, she helps people not just look restored, but feel it—from the inside out.

Amy arrived via a different route. As an entrepreneur in the cake industry, she spent years building, baking, and burning out. Service came naturally to her, but the pace was unsustainable. When her own body began to send unmistakable signals—fatigue, anxiety, a persistent sense of disconnection—she found her way to Jin Shin Jyutsu. It was the first time she had ever truly been held. The shift was so profound, she knew she had to share it. Now, she serves not with sugar and flour, but with presence and quiet hands.

Together, we have created something we could not find elsewhere: a space that feels like home.

Not clinical. Not hurried. Not performative. Just warm, quiet, and deeply welcoming. A place where you can arrive exactly as you are—stressed, depleted, curious, skeptical, hopeful—and simply be met there.

We both understand the weight of the world right now. We have lived our own versions of it. Jin Shin Jyutsu did not just help us heal; it showed us a different way to move through life. Now, it is our shared mission to offer that same sense of safety to others.

But this is only the beginning.

This studio—these two tables, these four hands—is just one small part of a much larger vision. We believe that true wellbeing should not feel like a luxury or an afterthought. It is the foundation upon which everything else is built. Our dream is to help people everywhere—in our community and beyond—not just cope, but thrive: physically, mentally, and emotionally.

We do not chase symptoms. We listen for the root. Whether you come for immune support, emotional release, or just twenty-five minutes of uninterrupted stillness, our hands follow what your body is asking for. No two sessions are the same. And every single one is held with the same quiet intention:

To help you feel calm, healthy, and glowing—not because we tended to the surface, but because we honoured what was underneath.

This is our first step. And we are so grateful you are here for it.
